Jack Cottrell

Jack Cottrell (1938- ) is Professor of Theology at Cincinnati Christian University (formerly Cincinnati Christian Seminary). Dr. Cottrell received his A.B. and Th.B. from Cincinnati Bible College, and an A.B. in Philosophy from the University of Cincinnati. He achieved his M.Div. from Westminster Theological Seminary and followed that with his Ph.D. from Princeton Theological Seminary, ultimately giving his dissertation on "Baptism and Covenant in the Theology of Huldreich Zwingli."

Dr. Cottrell has been involved in various ministries in Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey. He is a prolific writer, having written on various theological subjects including grace, Biblical authority, 'tough' questions, baptism, feminism, the book of Romans, the Holy Spirit and many other theological issues and subjects.
